There are a number of reasons why outsourcing your digital processing may be a great idea for you and your business.
NOTE: If you ZIP (or compress) your files it makes for a more seamless upload.
We can also accommodate Photoshop and Camera RAW users, just ask us how we can help!
You’ve decided you’d like your own personal editing team – that’s wonderful! We’re so excited to show you what we can do! Now we need to get to know you, get to know your images and learn exactly what you want us to do for you.
To get everything started, we offer a complimentary sample set to help gauge your style and dial in your preferences. The sampling process is an integral part of our relationship! It is essential for us to fine tune your feedback until we have everything perfect! Once this process is complete, we’ll be ready for every wedding you send our way!
We will adopt these 10-30 images online through your own personal dropbox account. If you have a whole wedding ready to go – we can definitely accept that and choose the 10-30 sample images from throughout the coverage. This works particularly well because once you have approved them, we can commence work on the rest of the job in the same style!
At RAW Digital Lab, we put a big focus on consistency! So we always recommend that our clients work with one colour preset and one black and white preset to ensure the images we edit for you are cohesive and give you a signature look! If you don’t have a preset, don’t worry! We’ll make one especially for you!
We like to use presets for every job as a starting point. Once the preset is applied, we commence our work. Every single image is edited frame by frame and enhanced to look it’s very best!
If there is any other important information you’d like to convey about how you edit that can’t be displayed in images, please email it to us!
We do whatever it takes to make the images perfect for you! We do not however do any photoshop retouching.
Some examples of the adjustments we would make image by image include:
Due to the subjective nature of cropping we do need some guidance on how and when you crop, but with regular feedback we’ll be able to dial it in perfectly. As a general rule we like to straighten to horizons and architectural elements. The best news is, straightening and cropping is included in our editing fee!
In the event you’re not 100% happy with a job you get back from us, we ask that you get in touch with us immediately so we can make it right! Once we work out what’s gone wrong we’ll revise the job (usually within 24-48 hours!).
